Yael Boim-Fein | Executive Director the Institute for Gender Equity in Education
Yael, a social and educational entrepreneur with expertise in education and gender, is the founder and executive director of the Institute for Gender Equity in Education. Yael is a leading partner in the Master’s program in Gender and Jewish Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and serves as a board member of the international research organization – Gender and Education Association (GEA). Yael founded and managed the educational department at the Beit Avi Chai Cultural Center in Jerusalem, and was the chairperson of the board of directors of the Jerusalem Sexual Assault Crisis Center. Yael is a graduate of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, Ashoka’s international Impact Transfer program, and the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), and is a Schusterman Fellow. Yael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and International Relations, a Master’s degree in Communications and Culture, and a Master’s degree in Pluralistic Education.
Dafna Tzadok, Pedagogical Director
Dafna is a seasoned educator and an expert in developing, leading, and supporting professional development processes for educational teams. She was a member of the R&D team at the Avney Rosha Institute, where she focused on learning process development, building professional frameworks, and mentoring managerial and supervisory staff. Previously, she co-founded High Tech High (HTH) School in Holon and played a key role in designing and implementing innovative pedagogical models. Dafna also served as a municipal mentor for Project-Based Learning (PBL) programs in Holon. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies from the Hebrew University and a Master’s degree in Gender and Women’s Studies from Tel Aviv University
Yael Freiberg, Pedagogical Instructor
Yael is an experienced pedagogical instructor specializing in early childhood education and elementary schools. She has many years of experience in the education system as a kindergarten teacher, elementary school teacher, and pedagogical mentor. Yael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Environmental Justice and Peace Education from Seminar Hakibbutzim and a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in teacher training, from the University of Haifa.
Lisa Kronberg, Pedagogical Instructor
Lisa is a veteran facilitator with 20 years of experience in teaching, education, and group facilitation. Over the years, she has specialized in gender, sexuality, empathy in education and society, and dialogue between social groups. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Democratic Education from Seminar Hakibbutzim and a Master’s degree in Gender Studies from New York University.
Mor Erez, Digital Coordinator
Mor is a social worker and group facilitator with a Master’s degree in Public Policy. She is the founder of the “Empower to Be” community for women business owners. Mor has extensive experience as a lecturer and group facilitator on gender and gender equality. She previously served as an Education Coordinator at the Center for Victims of Sexual Assault and Violence and as the Professional Director of the Toda’a nonprofit organization.

Prof. Shulamit Reinharz
Prof. Shulamit Reinharz is Professor Emerita of Sociology at Brandeis University. She founded and led the Women’s Studies Research Center, established and directed the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute for Jewish Women’s Research, and co-founded the Israeli website “Women on the Map.” Prof. Reinharz has authored dozens of books and articles on feminism, gender, and Judaism, including Feminist Methods in Social Research, a foundational work in feminist research methodologies.
Dr. Tanya Zion-Waldoks
Dr. Tanya Zion-Waldoks, a resident of the Negev and mother of four, is a senior lecturer at the Seymour Fox School of Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, religion, and politics, with an emphasis on education and social change. Using qualitative and comparative research, she explores women advancing gender equality in diverse traditional and religious communities (Jewish, Haredi, Muslim, and others). She also studies gender equality education and activism led by Ethiopian-Israeli women against racism and police violence in Israel. Tanya completed her doctorate on combating get refusal in Israel in the Gender Studies program at Bar-Ilan University and conducted postdoctoral research at Princeton University and the Ben-Gurion Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism. Alongside her academic work, Tanya has been actively involved in social justice initiatives and co-leads cooperative prayer groups and mission-driven communities.
Dana Hochstein Mann
Dana Hochstein Mann is the Vice President of Business Development and Innovation at Fox Group, Israel’s leading retail company. Dana has 20 years of experience in innovation, venture capital, and entrepreneurship and has played a central role in shaping innovative business models in Israel’s high-tech industry, including OurCrowd, ALYNnovation, PresenTense, and JVP Properties. At Fox Group, Dana established and leads Fox Labs, the company’s innovation arm, focusing on investing in and implementing advanced retail technologies. Under her leadership, Fox Labs identifies, evaluates, and integrates cutting-edge solutions for the group’s 22 brands across over 1,000 stores worldwide. Dana is also a mentor in the Fem Forward program promoting women in tech and serves on the advisory board of the Hebrew University Business School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Hebrew University and an MBA from the international Kellogg-Recanati program at Northwestern University. Dana lives in Jerusalem with her partner and three children.
Tali Yochananof
Tali Yochananof is an expert in guiding managers, managing partnerships, and establishing and leading social and educational initiatives. Throughout her career, Tali has focused on managing projects and developing solutions in the social-educational sector, emphasizing employment and education as tools for promoting social mobility. Tali developed and led the Afikim program, which integrates at-risk youth into quality employment, as well as support systems for immigrant students, Ethiopian-Israeli students, and alumni programs like “You Have a Place.” In recent years, she served as the Director of Development and Residential Programs at the Education Advancement Association and currently guides managers and organizations in planning and implementing social initiatives. Tali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and General History and a Master’s degree in Public Policy.
